RightStep Integration Strategy Definition
The Clarity RightStepTM Integration Strategy Methodology encapsulates years of experience of assisting organisations in this area and creating a repeatable methodology that will to navigate what, to many, is a most complex and confusing subject area.
The options available to organisations range from implementation of an EAI layer for messaging and data, application and process integration through to the use of industry standards such as XML and Web Services.
The RightStepTM Integration Strategy Methodology has helped a number of organisations to get complete clarity into their thinking and planning – it has 3 main steps as follows:
1. Investigate - this phase records the business priorities & needs and documents & assesses current IS effectiveness so that we can agree a starting point and identify key gaps.
2. Blueprint - this phase evaluates the impact of shortfalls between the current state and the agreed BI strategy in terms of applications, business processes, organisation effectiveness and technology so that the ideal Integration Blueprint is developed.
3. Implementation and Planning – this phase develops a multi-staged implementation plan that coordinates the incremental realisation of benefits so that all business and IT initiatives are aligned and prioritised.
