DFES

The Department for Education and Skills (DFES) is responsible for childrens services, education and lifelong learning in England. 

DFES wanted to undertake a review of their existing data warehouse, because they had difficulty in realising the business benefits. Their specific problem was on providing flexible information back to schools.

Clarity Integration proposed the use of its RightStep BI Effectiveness Review methodology for this project.

Clarity Integration was then engaged in further work to define a Business Intelligence roadmap, this roadmap was used as a cornerstone for a major new data warehouse development, which saw cross-sector information available in one place.
